Anyone who would prefer to know the TRUTH about the middle east conflict, anyone who ever had a shred of sympathy for the Arabs and muslims in the region (I DO sympathize with non-violent Muslims in the region, if there are any), and anyone whoever wished they REALLY knew what the conflict was about should read this. In short, the legacy media, the Arabs, the Muslims, EVERYONE has been lying about this for decades - to the point where the original facts and the TRUE history comes as a very shocking surprise to most.
All this agnostic, freedom loving American has to say is: Go Isreal! You can bet your ASS that no US politician will betray you for long.
My sentiments are echoed by everyone I know. They have nothing to do with any "Iraeli lobby", any 'Jewish control of major media' (that ALWAYS makes me laugh - our media is so anti-Isreal it's embarrassing), or any ulterior motive whatsover. My support for Israel has EVERYTHING TO DO WITH MY OPPOSITION TO BARBAROUS, MURDEROUS, MYSOGINISTIC, LYING, GENOCIDAL, RAPING GANGSTERS MASQUERADING AS HAMAS, AL FATAH, HEZBOLLAH, MUSLIM BROTHERHOOD, AND ALL THE REST OF THE COWARDLY SCUMBAGS - 'terrorist' is too nice term for them.
My support for Israel comes very naturally - the US has also at times been surrounded by enemies of freedom and democracy. We spent our blood and treasure to secure our way of life, Israel is doing the same - in the face of politically correct opposition from the rest of the world. Even from the US in some quarters - the ignorant, PC, molly-coddled generation makes me want to puke when they call themselves "American".
Keep up the good fight Israel, we're with you all the way. "Palestine" and "Palestinians" can kiss my ass, with their tongues out.

Hi Doug I read your blog and just had to wrte. Theres no problem with keeping up the good fight when the fight is properly directed. You may ask how or what gives me the right to say this. I use to be just like you. I am a good old fashioned Catholic boy from Miami, Florida, Graduated UM in Ann Arbor and one year in 1985 took a trip to Israel as part of a UM sponcered Fil Project on Argrivulture. When we got there after a few days, a few of us took our cameras and headed to the country side. Some of the things we say and caught on camera mad us sick to our stomachs We were in a boarder town called Sderot. We saw Israeli soldiers guarding a bulldozer crew tearing down a school with no advanced warning. Small children maybe 8 to ten years old running out screaming, the teacher ran up to the soliders and asked why, what was going on and they threw her to the ground and spit on her. All the time the little kids were screaming and crying not knowing what was going on, We started filming from about 50 yards away and one of the soliders saw us and came over yelling, they took our movie camera throgh it to the ground and shot it to peaces and told to leave. I had never expierenced anything like this in my life and started crying. The three of us made it back to our hotel and called the American Embassy where we filed a complaint, but it fell on deaf ears. We found out later that this school was on the edge of a new town that Israel wanted to build for Russian Jewish settlers. I have no problem with Israel, but what if someone came to my famlies home one day and through us out and said this is now ours. Theres are morals here, women, children. By these actions, Israel is keeping the cycle of hate alive by making younger generations develope hatred. This is simply wrong. I came home with a new sence of right and wrong and Israel has a right to exist, but within their own country and boarders and leave these people and their land alone. My two sence for whatever its worth.

yeah, the casualties in israel and palestine is 400 to 1 and that was before the attack on gaza. that means that for every 1 israeli death 400 palestinian women, children and men die. how can israel even take itself seriously when they talk about defending themselves. the only reason palestinians are attacking israel is because the israelis, in their quest for peace, have taken away every basic human right of the palestinians. People talk about it being an apartheid like in south africa but the people who have visited palestine have said it is actually worse than in south africa. The problem is that israel is backed by the united states. every palestinian child thats gunned down is gunned down by united states weapons. If the united states just said that ethnic cleansing and apartheid's arnt ok, then israel would be forced to change their ways. and also, when has national zionism ever helped anybody.

These propaganda influenced morons who take issue with what you said are simply mislead about the truth about what is the route cause of the conflict here in Israel- Palestine. You are spot on, Doug, when you say that 'the people who are responsible for corrupting their own populations minds and waging violence against Israel(the Arabs),are simply milking past attitudes and hatred against Israel for money and power'. Most of the Arab governments in the mid east are responsible for this as they use the situation in Israel-Palestine in order to scapegoat hatred away from their own regimes repressive ways and onto the Israelis. This brainwashed moron says that Israel has taken away the Palestinians human rights, he is dead wrong for it is the Arab governments who are the ones who take away the human rights of their own citizens under their repressive methods of the regime. Arabs living in Israel enjoy more rights than Arabs living in any other Muslim country. This person claiming she saw the Israeli soldiers bulldozing a school is herself a propagandist liar and is full of shit in the most disturbing way. This DOES NOT HAPPEN and this trash of a person has lied about this to promote her cause, she has only heard stories of this which are in fact lies. Israel only bulldozes the homes that are used by terrorists who operate against Israel on their borders. To say that they bulldoze to gain land for immigrants is absolutely absurd! As if this lying scumbag actually stumbled upon a scene with the school teacher asking "why are you doing this" who is then pushed to the ground. How dramatic a story for that lying piece of scum female tool, anyone who believes such an obviously made up story is very naive. The catastrophe here is that stories like this are constantly made up in order to try to justify the blatant targeting of civilians by the PALESTINIAN ARABS in bombings, something unconscionable that Israel DOES NOT DO. They need to promote lies in order to make the Palestinian militants look like victims when the real truth is that if the Arabs laid down their guns today they could have peace for their children tomorrow, but they will not do it because they have been so brainwashed into being pawns for the Arab thugs who profit and gain power from promoting hatred against the Jews. It is so sad that Americans could be so mislead about this situation in the mid east that they blame everything on Israel, I hope one day they are judged for their naivety and furthering of anti Israel propaganda.

Instead of saying that Palestinians/Arabs/Muslims want to fight or kill or are terrorists, etc. Realize that we are all humans and have the same needs (look up Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs). I have lived in Jordan, Pakistan, Kansas, Indiana and NJ the needs for all these people are the same. Food, Water, Security followed by love, belonging, dignity and knowledge. For all humans these needs are the SAME!!! Everybody understands love and pain and nobody wants their children killed!
The question that I want you to ask is Why? why ? why are are the Palestinians reacting back to what happening to them? why are they fighting Israelis? why do the say they hate America? If you do a true and sincere search on these why, you will realize that Palestiniains have been denied their right for safety, dignity, right of determination, sometimes food and water.
Only by knowing this fact will you understand what is going on, otherwise you will remain biased, continue to think in our own little world that Israeli good, Palestinian bad and you WILL NEVER FIND A SOLUTION (unless it is to kill all the Palestinians)

the Palestinians are defending their basic human right to live in peace and dignity...the Israeli Zionist movement has completely decimated the Palestinian people...there is no comparison with the ratio of killings of Palestinians compared to the Israeli deaths, Israel is the aggressor against the Palestinians their stick and stones are no match for the Israeli army funded by the us...their f16,s and nuclear weapons...all the Palestinians are doing is trying to defend against these atrocities...this is no different to what the Nazis did to the Jews in Europe...why is there such uproar when a an Israeli dies and no one bats an eyelid when Palestinian children are being massacred. there are some people including the person who rote the article who have no humanity and have their faces so far up their arses can't see the real persecution of the Palestinian. people.
I don't watch this blog much any more, no time to keep it current. But every now and then I check out the comments. Those who have taken issue with what I wrote have every right to do so. But when Palestinians give AK47s to their children, when they indiscriminately lob rockets at Israeli children...well my case is still at rest. Nobody stole Palestinian land, Israelis are not the aggressors, and Palestinians are led by terrorists and criminals. Even worse, they're in league with the Iranians who will soon arm them with nuclear weapons. The whole region is going to vanish in a nuclear cloud simply because the Palestinians are NOT interested in peace, they want genocide.

Death toll for palestanian is higher, military and economic aid given to israel is higher.... palestinians are always at a losing end and israel is using the US....
