A Byrd in the hand craps all over West Virginia
Please say it isn't so! Eighty-seven year old WV Senator Byrd announced he plans to run for re-election again:

The the anti-American, former KKK honcho continues to BS West Virginians, applying his considerable clout to rig WV US Senatorial elections over and over. This man is SCUM, and I can't believe honest West Virginians continue to support this liberal fruitcake. My feeling is that he owns the Democrat machine in WV, which extends to the vote counters - I bet he subsribes to the Tammany Hall credo: Votes don't decide elections, counters do.
I will vote for Capito, or any Republican that challenges this nut job. I will also do my best to campaign against him via word of mouth and here on my blog. Byrd is second only to Ted Kennedy on the leftist moonbat fringe of the Democratic Party.
West Virginia needs new, pro-American, pro-Democracy, pro-free market, anti-union ideas to bring it into the 21st century. WV can very closely compete with any state in the union for jobs, businesses, and productivity, but not while Big-government-Byrd is our representative in the US Senate. Byrd has been spending more than West Virginia earns for DECADES, he's a leading champion of sky-high national debts, intrusive government regulations, and anti-American rhetoric. Let's FIRE this communist come our next election!

Robert C. Byrd, a communist! HA-HA-HA!!! Are you on crack? As a West Virginian, you ought to know better. Robert Byrd is the only man left in Congress looking out for people like you and I! He's the only one following a sacred document called the Constitution of the United States. Surely, a Neo-Con like you finds such a document inconvenient to your sick and twisted ideology, but the rest of us find it inspiring. Laugh all you want, and call me all the usual names you and your fellow Neo-Con scum love to bestow upon liberals and anyone else who don‘t follow your fascist views, but someday you'll realize I'm right. I guarantee it. I'm really offended to read a West Virginian speaking about the honorable Robert C. Byrd, who has done more for your backward, impoverished state than anyone ever has, in such fashion! Maybe you should actually read the constitution before you make such patently false claims about Comrade Byrd...
